Dogsledding

240 Alaskan huskies are waiting for you!
You will be equipped with warm clothes (overalls, boots) to make sure you are never cold while you drive a team of dogs yourself or ride on a sledge covered with warm reindeer skins and driven by an expert guide. After your adventure with the huskies a Sami meal followed by hot coffee around an open fire in a traditional Sami lavu (tepee) will be just what the doctor ordered. Homemade cakes will make you feel right at home in this fairytale environment. Activity duration 4-5 hours.Dogsledding video here

Spaboat

The Vulkana is an old 1950s fishing vessel now fully fitted out with Zen lounge, hammam, sauna, on deck salt water hot tub and bistro serving up local delicacies.  The ”Spaboat” sleeps up to 12 people, and can be used for polar safaris, yoga trips, ski-by-boat in the Lyngen Alps, day spa trips and much more. The boat has 3 cabins with double beds in the aft, and one cabin with 6 berths to the front

Take in the Arctic scenery from the salt water hut tub under the Arctic sky, before enjoying a relaxing massage in the zen lounge, hydrotherapy in the salt water indoor plunge pool, or even take a dive into the ocean from the diving tower before warming up in the hammam and sauna which boasts panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness. Fully cleansed you are ready for the Arctic delicacies being cooked up for you in the bistro

Reindeer sledding

Try out Father Christmas´ preferred mode of transport. Let the Arctic wilderness, snow and crystal clear, cold air transport you to another magical world. Get underneath the reindeer skins on the sled and scout for the famous Northern Lights! Reindeer sledding video here

Snowmobile safari

Ride 30 km on your snowmobile in dramatic topography and Arctic wilderness through the valley of Finn, to the lake of Tamok, where you find out who has the best knack for ice fishing. A hot meal served in the middle of the wilderness (whether you catch a fish or not!) will be well deserved before switching driving partners on your snowmobile for the journey home to Camp Tamok.

Ski by boat

Stay on the boat and let the Vulkana take you into the famous fjords of Lyngen, where snow clad peaks to conquer rise straight out of the ocean wherever you look. After putting tracks down for the day, get picked up by the Vulkana, who will be waiting for you with the hot tub, sauna and hammam fired up, ready to take care of any sore limbs from a days skiing. Enjoy excellent cuisine in the bistro created by the chef using local Arctic produce and fish straight out of the ocean, before you crash out,ready for the next day and peak!Ski by boat video here

The famous cable car in Tromsø takes you from ground level to a spectacular view of the town and surrounding mountains, fjords and islands in 5 minutes. Fjellheisen can host up xxx for private dinners and lunches, with a cosy fireplace and possibilities for entertainment and shows indoors. Northern lights safaris, snow shooing/skiing and snowball fights can be arranged during winter, while Midnight Sun BBQs at dizzy heights, hiking and much more are options in summer

Get ready for a dinner night like no other. Head up the famous cable car of Tromsø for a welcome drink and 3-course meal at dizzy heights overlooking the island and mountains of Tromsø. This is the perfect view while enjoying your dinner, and also the perfect spot to observe the famous Northern Lights from should they graze you with their presence. A Northern Lights watchman will alert you to them so that they can be viewed outside the mountain restaurant where you can get away from light pollution. Endless snow, mountains and the mystical Northern Lights can be taken in fully.

Fjellheisen can be booked on an exclusive basis, snowball fights, and snowshoeing, BBQs and other activities can also be arranged on this basis, to make whole day adventures.

Excellent panoramic views of Tromsø, its surrounding islands and peaks can also be seen during the day, or indeed at midnight during the 24-hour sunlit Midnight Sun summers of Arctic Norway. Lunch, BBQs or celebratory drinks with accompanying treks or other activities in a spectacular setting.
